" The concept of the Outboard MD was an evolutionary idea....
We have known that consistent fresh water flushing of our outboards extends the life of the motor, and keeps them looking pristine inside and out. I have always been amazed how good motors that run in freshwater look after many years. I always flushed my engine at season end, as preventive medicine for winter layup. This involved using muffs or some similar apparatus. Very inconvenient if not impossible when the boat is kept on a lift. The major shift to four stroke outboards brought with it the advent of the motor mounted flush attachment point allowing the garden hose a direct connection to the motor without the additional gear required to get the job done in the past. This was a tremendous step forward. There is only one problem: getting to the flush point with the hose often requires working around the motor on a bracket or on an extended transom with a inner bulkhead. This is an obvious aggravation and becomes a chore at the end of the day. Most new boats offer the option to add a built in flushing system or at the very least a connection point that’s in an easy access, convenient location. These accessory systems are expensive with some multi motor layouts costing well over a thousand dollars. Now you can enjoy the same convenience and benefits for a fraction of the price. Our very simple installation takes just minutes, fully automatic safety features give you peace of mind and Motodoosh allows you to choose the best location for your flushing connection point. It takes just an easy few minutes at the end of your boating day to flush your engine, maintain its internal strength and help keep it looking new. Ask any outboard tech and they will say that they can always tell when a motor is flushed consistently and regularly. I have been using mine now for over a year and its so easy to get this most important job done so its never overlooked or put off until next time.
